Pilgrim Week

This month, in school the kids and I have been focusing on the history and meaning of Thanksgiving. We still have a lot to cover, but I think after this week the kids have a good knowledge about the pilgrims. We had so much fun learning about their journey to America and making crafts each day. I think that they look pretty precious in their pilgrim hats.





I will post more pics next week when we learn about the Native Americans.

Apples to Applesauce

Last week, the kids and I went with some friends apple and pear picking. We came home with a ton of apples and I decided to make applesauce. It was such a fun experience. This was my first time canning and I am so thankful that everything turned out well. The kids were such an amazing help. Now we have applesauce to last us thought the winter...YUMMY!!

Visit with Mom
